Welcome to Helensburgh Art Club
Helensburgh Art Club was founded to encourage and develop interest in the visual arts and crafts in Helensburgh and District.
We currently have over 200 members who range from total beginners to experienced artists with wide ranging portfolios for painting, drawing and sculpture. Many members just enjoy our programme of lectures and demonstrations.
We provide courses to develop members skills and run interest groups to encourage active practice, participation and self-help.
We have one main exhibition and two one day sales a year for the display and sale of members work, the largest being the Annual Exhibition in August. Close links are also maintained with other groups in the community.

Where do we meet?
The Helensburgh Sailing Club on West Clyde Street is the venue for our Thursday evening programme of demonstrations, lectures and workshops, as well as some of our classes. This beautiful location looking across Gare Loch to Rosneath is in itself an inspiration to all aspiring artists.
The Portrait Group meets in the Helensburgh Tennis Club.
Our Exhibition and one-day sales are held in the Victoria Halls.
If you would like to join the club check out our Join Us page where you can find an application form and related information.
